Per Deadline, Adan Canto did not shoot any material for "The Cleaning Lady" Season 3, set to debut on Fox on March 5, due to his health and the SAG-AFTRA strike. He did, however, plan to rejoin the cast for further filming before he passed away. The show will pay tribute to Canto with a title card during the Season 3 premiere, but there's no word as of press time on what will happen to Arman Morales.
Canto, speaking with Latino Review Media in 2023, explained that playing Aman was a challenge he was happy to take on. He ended up attached to the show after attending a pitch meeting but didn't think it would be able to maintain its quality as it unspooled. "Frankly, I thought it was too good to be true. I didn't expect for the quality or the accuracy of the world they were telling me they were going to portray to hold." He was, to his expressed amazement, proven wrong.
