As shown in the morning after the night before that never happened (sorry, Tedecca fans) it's shown that Arsenal finished third. There's a hefty gap between them and the Greyhounds. It would explain why, even though he might not play for the team anymore, Thierry Henry only remembers his victories. (If you're keeping track, AFC Richmond beats West Ham United and scores second place, behind Manchester City at No. 1.) For fans of the show, though, you'll recall that this isn't the first time Henry, or Gary Lineker for that matter, has appeared on "Ted Lasso."
Among all the real-life sporting heroes that have blessed the series over its three-season run, Henry and Lineker had a notable appearance in its second season as part-pundits, part-figments of imagination. Besides appearing in sporting highlights, Henry and Lineker debuted in the show's strangest episode in Season 2, Episode 9, "Beard After Hours," during Willis' (that's right, we know Beard's first name now) wild night. The episode saw them commentating on the exploits of Ted's right-hand man. It's a shame that we never got to see the two commentating on Beard's antics any time after. Ah well. C'est la vie.
