In 2011, Gigandet appeared in Trespass and Hicks. The following year saw him in three films: the made-for-TV movie Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden in the lead role of Stunner; as Jake Flynn in The Tin Star, another TV movie; and as Bishop in Making Change. Plush and Free Ride were released in 2013, before Gigandet's busiest year came in 2014. That year saw him appearing in a recurring role on the TV series Reckless. Gigandet also took the leading role of Rich Johnson in Bad Johnson and another starring role as Butch "Cobra" Masters in Red Sky. Additionally, he played Derek Grant in In The Blood, Wes Jacobs in 4 Minute Mile, Mark Kessler in Nanny Cam, and made an appearance on the TV series Day One.
More recently, Gigandet has taken on roles in the remake of The Magnificent Seven and Broken Vows in 2016, The Shadow Effect and Black Side Delta in 2017, and Assimilate in 2019. Between 2016 and 2018 Gigandet also played a recurring role in the TV series Ice as Jake Green, appearing on 20 episodes of the drama series.
