Arnold Vosloo is known for his sinister antagonists in not just "The Mummy" and "24" but also "GI Joe: Retaliation," in which he plays the evil master of disguise Zartan. It's no surprise that his role on "Bones" would be of an evil nature as well. More specifically, he played sniper Jacob Broadsky on three episodes from the show's sixth season: "The Bullet in the Brain," "The Killer in the Crosshairs," and "The Hole in the Heart."
Broadsky is a former associate of Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) who eventually crosses over to the wrong side of the law, eliminating suspects he deems guilty with his handmade .338 Lapua Magnum (per Bones Fandom). Much like the relationship between Windom Earle (Kenneth Welsh) and Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) on season two of "Twin Peaks," Broadsky is like a sinister mirror image to the heroic Booth.
Broadly's calling card in his deadly acts of frontier justice are his own homemade copper bullets. Eventually, in "The Hole in the Heart" (Vosloo's final appearance on the show), Booth and Broadsky have a climactic sniper vs sniper confrontation, ending with Broadsky captured alive by Booth. This could have left the door open for more appearances from the sniper, but unfortunately for fans this ended up being the last time viewers ever saw the character.
