Before psychoanalyzing the show's central characters, we'll need to know the attributes that would most resonate with Geminis. According to the Co-Star astrology app, Geminis are defined by five key traits: their charisma, reliance on humor, ability to talk to anyone, argumentative flirtatiousness, and modest knowledge across many topics.
These traits are tricky because "Breaking Bad" is a brutal show defined by severe, dour, and unflinching characters — and we didn't see "remorseless killer" in Co-Star's list of Gemini attributes. Some characters do exhibit one or two traits. For example, Walter might know a little bit about a lot of things, but he doesn't solve problems with charisma or humor. Jesse, meanwhile, is certainly charismatic and makes the audience laugh, but he's not exactly good-humored or chatty. In fact, almost none of the show's central characters really fit the bill. Skyler (Anna Gunn) is way too calculating, Hank way too stern, and Gus way too ... uh ... everything antithetical to the Gemini ethos.
But then there's Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), the silver-tongued attorney who knows all the guys who know a guy — the former conman who, prior to his law career, literally made a living talking his way into and out of precarious situations. Throughout "Breaking Bad," Saul consistently outwits and outmaneuvers everyone using charisma, good humor, and some well-practiced Machiavellian manipulation. And that makes him our nominee for the "Breaking Bad" character that Geminis relate to the most.
