A restored piece of World War II history passed through the Quad Cities on its way to its new home.
A German rail car that dates back to the war, the Beit Shalom Jewish Center hosted it in Davenport today as the car travels to its permanent home in Danville, Iowa. The goal of the restoration is to increase holocaust education in the state.
