Opening day for food trucks in Davenport turned out to be a hit. Several vendors ended up having to turn people away because they sold out. Vendors set up at two locations. The corner of East Second and Iowa streets is one of two zones approved by the city. The other is underneath the sky bridge on the riverfront. Brandon Koepke tried a pulled pork sandwich and says the trucks bring the community together. “I think its great. It’s a wonderful for the community to get out on days like this,” Koepke said. Trucks can sell food on the Riverfront location from 6 am until 12 midnight.
