The "Chucky" Season 1 finale aired on November 30, 2021, and left plenty of plot lines up in the air that could be explored in Season 2. Even though Andy (Alex Vincent) and Kyle (Christine Elise) think they've taken down all of the Chucky dolls, it's revealed that Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) has actually been busy raising a possessed army. In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, showrunner Don Mancini said, "Once you get into your fourth decade in a franchise, it's trying to forge ahead into unseen, unexplored territory. And the idea of multiple Chucky dolls always appealed to me." So we can surely expect more from this killer army in Season 2.
Fans are certainly eager to see if fan-favorite character Kyle, who is presumed dead, is actually dead, or if, like many characters in the "Chucky" franchise, she'll make an unexpected resurrection. Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif) is also left in a very precarious position, as Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) amputates all of her limbs "in case" Chucky ever regains control of her.
In a video interview with SyFy, when asked if there was anything the actors hoped to see for their characters in Season 2, Alex Vincent said that speculating may be futile as "Don [Mancini], his vision is quite often not what we would expect it to be, even for people who know him as well as we do. And that keeps us guessing and keeps us surprised and keeps us entertained."
