A video of a van repeatedly hitting a Checkers restaurant in East Moline, Thursday night has gone viral. The video was shared high school freshman and witness, Bren Lawrenz. He says he was on break from driver’s education class, and was standing outside checkers when a van started hitting the building. East Moline police say it happened just around 6:15 p.m. They say the woman driving the van hit the building and backed into a support beam multipe times, before hitting a lightpole and coming to a stop. Police say the building suffered tens of thousands of dollars in damage, but no one was hurt. Police say the woman was charged with driving under the influence. The video now has more than 6,000 views, and has been shared more than 800 times.
